In Loving Memory - Eunice Wellington

ERYT500

Remembering our beloved, Eunice, who passed July 20, 2014. We were all touched by her wisdom, kindness, strength and presence. We were so blessed that she made the Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach her Yoga home. She taught in our Teacher Training and offered workshops and special programs. Eunice was a gifted teacher, but also an avid student. Although she had more experience than any of her teachers and her asana practice was the most advanced in her classes, she was able to give herself over fully as a student. To surrender with full focus and humility, she never lost her joy in the practice of Yoga. What a gift to learn from her in so many ways!

From an article published in NY State:

Eunice has been teaching Hatha Yoga for over 60 years. She has been Director of two Sivananda Ashrams in New York with a following of students throughout the Tri-State area. Her unparalleled zeal and dedication has attracted many to the path of yoga. She considers it her duty to instruct others in the Yoga disciplines. Her vision is that the chain of Yoga knowledge and teachings will someday bind humanity into one great World Brotherhood of unity and peace. Eunice teaches from the heart of alignment with Divine Grace. Photo courtesy of Sue Landon, December 7, 2006
